mhl support launches a series of seminars in response to employment fears

"There are some things in life that require precision and that can't be left to chance. Dismissing staff and making redundancies is one of those things." Marc Schroder, CEO, mhl support

Leading risk-management company mhl support has responded to a huge rise in requests for information regarding employment law, by organising a series of seminars for employers faced with laying-off staff and dismissing poorly performing staff.

As the credit crunch continues to bite, business owners in all sectors are reconciling themselves to downsizing. However, in this era of 'claim culture', many are unsure of the procedures with which they must comply and are nervous about the possible pitfalls of 'letting people go'.

As mhl support CEO Marc Schroder said: "there are some things in life that require precision and that can’t be left to chance and dismissing staff is one of those things."

Employees have the right not to be unfairly dismissed by their employers under provisions contained in the Employment Rights Act 1996, Part X, One thing's for certain: if employers get it wrong, there may be expensive ramifications.

The seminars aim to inform business owners about their legal responsibilities and to offer an out-sourced HR solution, allowing busy managers to focus on core activities, assured that their employment issues are in expert hands.

Entry to the seminars is free of charge by prior arrangement and the next one takes place in Liverpool, at Jury’s hotel, on 11 November.

For further information and to book a place at the seminar, interested parties are invited to call 08453 100 600.
